Tamara Braun was the original Carly on General Hospital. She played the role from 2001-2005, and then briefly returned for a short arc in 2014. Carly is one of the most beloved and iconic characters on GH, known for her fiery personality and tumultuous love life. She has been involved in many of the show's biggest storylines over the years, including her on-again, off-again romance with Sonny Corinthos, her relationships with her children Michael, Morgan, and Josslyn, and her many rivalries with other women in Port Charles. Despite her flaws, Carly has a fiercely loyal following among GH fans, and Tamara Braun's portrayal of the character is widely praised as one of the best in the show's history.
